The Annual Smith Family Cabin Trip

July 15-22, 2009
A few days after returning home and just enough time to do some laundry, we repacked and headed up to Prescott to enjoy our annual Smith family cabin trip. We are blessed to have family that we enjoy doing so many fun things with. This year was especially a treat because Scott's sister Kristen and her family were moving back to the United States and were able to join us. Megan is just a year older than Kylie and they seem to be best buds when they are able to be with each other. We love lounging around and taking in the fresh air while eating as much as we can. Enjoy the pics of our fun time.

We did a little more fishing on this trip too. Scott was able to join us this time and he loves to fish. He brought poles for the kids to use and taught them how to reel it out into the water. They seemed to have a good time.

What a model. She seems to like to pose for pictures, lately.

Grandpa Sherm took the kids out on a hike. Notice no quotation marks this time. This was a true hike down to the old mines. Which we never ended up finding. But it was still fun anyway. It took a little bit of pushing and proding to keep them moving but we finally made it back in just under 2 hours!!!

Grandpa keeping Kylie moving.

She is still smiling! (But not for much longer) Next time a shorter hike might be good.

It is always fun to ride in the back of the truck. We were headed down to the lake and the girls thought they were so big to be able to sit in the bed with the dogs. Gotta take some risks some times, right?

The Talent Show!
Kylie and Megan did a ballet dance together with the help from cousin Ashley.

Kylie enjoyed watching her other cousins perform, as well.

This is not the best picture, but I had to include it because it represents Jaceys involvement in the Talent Show. Jacey joined everybody's performances by adding in some of her own moves. It was hilarious to watch her. In fact she got quite upset when we tried to stop her.

This is all the performers in the Talent Show. Yes, I was a performer. I danced the Hoedown Throwdown with Amy, Ashley, and Ashlee. It was a blast.

The kids enjoyed the Rhino, even whem it wasn't moving.

Cousins forever!

Mommy and the girls.

Kylie and Jacey had fun playing in the loft and watching movies.

But I guess the fun has to end at some time.
Good Night Girls!!

Again, we had a wonderful time with all the family and can't wait till next year.
